The Third Transplantiversary

It seems fitting to write this transplantiversary post on Mother's Day, since it was a Mother's Day three years ago that changed our lives.  Ed and I have written a number of times about the transplant that happened on May 10, 2010.  If you are interested in the story, click the link above or here, here, here, here, or here.  You could also read some his own blog here, here, or here.

On to the main event:

A lovely collection of Ed with the kids sitting outside the hospital after his awesome check-up today!

We celebrated by going to Snooze for breakfast - Yum!  There was a fifteen minute wait (not bad at all) and they had games and chalk outside for the kids to play with.  They never complained once!

Waiting for our food to come - someone was very hungry!

But still happy!

This little one was full of smiles - like normal.

And she really enjoyed eating outside and watching the cars and people go by.

One happy (and warm) girlie!

Showing Daddy her menu.

I totally forgot to take pictures of the food, so here is my half-eaten pancake.  It was a blueberry streusel pancake with lemon inside and almonds on top - so yummy!  Not a speck left on my plate!

We even stopped by the mall for a bit to celebrate with a shopping trip at Lego.

Someone crashed just before we walked out the mall. (And someone's just goofy!)

An extra little treat - Mmmmmmm!

Here's what we bought at Lego - a great way to relax each night together.

Happy Transplantiversary Babe!
