Ed's Transplant (Warning: Graphic Picture below)

It occurred to us today that a video would have been a cool way to document the last few days. Unfortunately, that would have required us to have started with the video camera a few days ago and we didn't. Anyway, here are some pics of Ed and family around the time of the transplant.

Our last family picture before the transplant. This was taken just before we headed down to the surgical floor and about an hour before Ed was wheeled into surgery. (We still need to get a post-surgery family picture, since our camera has been acting up the last couple of days.)

Ed after his first walk down the hall - he walked probably about 125 yards or so - about 2-3 times what the nurses wanted him to do. Obviously, he's feeling good!

Here's Ed's incision. It's about 5 inches long or so - much smaller than his first transplant incision which was about 8 inches or so.

Hope you all enjoy - and we plan to add more pictures later as we get them.
