Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for successful training. Lately it feels like Ed and I are moving from one training item to another with the kids.

We've been working on sleep training with Tabi for quite a while and the last week or two has finally showed consistent success. Tabi rarely wakes at night now, and when she does, she is usually able to put herself back to sleep with no intervention from us.

Two weeks ago we took away Tabi's paci and we haven't looked back. It worked well with the sleep training. Before we got up a couple of times a night to put her paci back in. Without it, she began putting herself back to sleep. Guess we needed both parts to get the sleep-thing to work.

About three days ago, we decided to transition Ephraim to a regular cup instead of a sippy cup. The first day he spilled water everywhere, but hasn't spilled much of anything since then.

I'm so proud of both of my kids and so thankful for them and for the great support from Ed.

Now we have to decide when to tackle our next big "training" - Potty Training. Ephraim has been showing many signs of being ready, but I'm not sure. Think we'll give it a little more time, but we'll be starting soon!
