Easter

As you all know, yesterday was Easter. We, being the good family that we are, took some pics for our family that couldn't be here. Enough set-up. Here they are. (In case you can't tell this is Ed.)

Here's the whole family all dressed up and ready to go to church for breakfast followed by service. We had a great time at both. The boy ate ham, cantaloupe, strawberries, pineapple, monkey bread and a roll. I don't know where he puts it, but he finds a way to fit it all in.
This is Bear sitting on our front porch before we left for church. As you can see he looks adorable with his button-down shirt, tie and vest. I think the Hobbit look makes the ensemble and Bear says that he agrees because I'm a genius. His words. :)

*Note: 'The Hobbit look' means not wearing any shoes.

In the the afternoon after the Bear woke up from a nap we had him go through his Easter basket. It had some empty eggs from us, and a couple of toys from Nana and Grandpa Russell. Look at the length of that Mardi Gras bead that Nana got for Bear when they were in New Orleans. What did she have to do to get a bead that long? I don't want to know and neither does the Bear.

We hope and pray that you all had a blessed Easter as well. He is Risen!
