Having four kids in 4 1/2 years naturally produces chaos. Now I am trying to keep that chaos filled with joy!

It Happened One Night
No I'm not talking about the old Frank Capra movie starring Clark Gable. I'm talking about what happened last night in bed. (It's not what you think - trust me, this is rated PG at the worst.) Anyway, Ed and I were laying in bed watching tv before we turned out the light like normal, when I felt the baby moving. This is a pretty regular occurrence now, but it seemed especially hard last night. So, I placed my hand over the spot to see if I could feel it from the outside. (Up until this time, I've had zero luck with this.) Last night I could feel the faintest kick (or knee, or elbow, or head, etc.), so I grabbed Ed's hand careful not to change my position and put his hand where mine was and pushed down a bit just to give Bunches a little nudge to keep moving. After another kick or two, Ed was able to feel it! He said it felt to him like my stomach was gurgling or growling. I assured him this was not the case. It was very faint, but he could feel it. Regardless, he is pretty excited to have gotten to feel the baby. I am too, since now I'm not the only one who's been feeling him/her move. I told him that it will get easier to feel the baby as in a few months, he/she is going to be trying to fight his/her way out.
