Da Beach

Ok, so here are some things that happened as of late. My sister has moved into her first apartment. She's now in St. Louis with Jen and I, which is great. We found a place for next year that's close to the Sem., my sis, and Zion for Jen. The apartment is 750 sq. ft. for guess how much. Come on and guess. Fine, I'll tell you. The apartment is only $480 a month. How awesome is that. Also, we just got back from a week on vacation. We went to a beach house that part of Jen's family gets every year at this time. The house is in North Carolina, on Emerald Isle, with the ocean and beach just down the boardwalk. Relaxation and visitation came aplenty. Plus we got to spend some time with Jen's family, who, coincidently, we only get to see on this week each year. Almost everyone was there. I say almost because one of Jen's cousins, who I've never met, and her oldest brother, wife and kids, couldn't make it. Bummer. There's always next year, we hope. There are some pics attached. Since I'm on the vacation topic, we had a little adventure when we got home. We got in the car, which was in the airport lot for a week, and hot, and started to go home. We were on 70 by Lake St. Louis, which is only 17 miles or so from home when Jen's car started to overheat. The gauge went through the roof. So, after walking for about a quarter mile in the heat, with no cell service, a few quarters spent at a pay phone, and two hours later, we got home. Jen's car is in the shop, but they won't be able to look at it until Wed. Hopefully it was just the heat and it's nothing serious. Oh, and before I go. We also have some great news. Prior to us leaving for vacation Jen 'n I had a plastic surgery party. We cut up all of our credit cards. We no longer have any credit cards! How cool is that. Plus the only debt that we have left are my student loans. I'm including some pics so you can see what I mean. All pictures are taken with our new digital camera, more on that later.

Ok... here goes...
First I love you both... and now

1. Of course it's $480 a month, it's only 750 sq feet. Can you say "cabin fever"?

2. Where is this apartment located?

3. Holy COW! Where did you get all of those credit cards? It looks like Mt. Visa!

4. Great pictures. Looks like you had fun!

5. See you in St. Louis! You guys need to come over and see B 2.0 and have a cold one (or 2 or 3...)

PS thanks for posting... I was beginning to think you both died!

Your bratty friend,

CC
:P
